Independent shopping perspective
The Korena take
The Teak Tri-Top brings a distinct visual layout to Kala’s tenor acoustic-electric range: teakwood construction is interrupted by a triangular mahogany strip running down the top’s center. That red or orange contrast stands against teak’s soft brown, straight-grained appearance. A Florentine cutaway shapes the body, and the Kala Active EQ includes a built-in tuner for managing setup from the instrument. It has an Indonesian Nandu fingerboard, 18 frets, a 16.75-inch scale, and Graph Tech TUSQ nut and saddle.
