Independent shopping perspective
The Korena take
Built for left-handed players, the JS32 DKA LH combines a poplar arched-top body with a bolt-on maple speed neck and 24 jumbo frets. Its compound-radius amaranth fingerboard is more rounded at the nut and becomes flatter higher up, supporting chord work and riffs in the lower positions while leaving room for bends farther up the neck. Two ceramic humbuckers run through a three-way switch, master volume and tone controls, while the double-locking tremolo handles bridge-based pitch effects.
Strong match
Who this is for
- Left-handed players moving between lower-position chord parts, riffs, bends and higher-register lead passages.
- Players who want two ceramic humbuckers with straightforward three-way switching and volume-and-tone control.
- Parts that call for a double-locking tremolo bridge rather than a fixed bridge.
Consider the trade-offs
When to look elsewhere
- Right-handed players.
- Players seeking a guitar supplied with a case or gig bag.
