Independent shopping perspective
The Korena take
The Artstar AM153FM is a compact semi-hollow built with flamed maple and a mahogany center block. Two Super 58 humbuckers provide the model's vintage-inspired voice, while Tri-sound switching offers three sound options for each humbucker. A 3-piece nyatoh/maple neck, Macassar ebony fingerboard, and Artstar fret-edge treatment support chord shapes and melodic passages with a smooth, responsive surface. The Gibraltar Artist bridge and Quik Change III tailpiece add practical attention to tuning performance and regular string changes; a hardshell case is included for transport.
