Independent shopping perspective
The Korena take
Guild’s M-240E pairs a concert-size body with a solid Sitka spruce top, mahogany sides, and an arched mahogany back. Its 24-3/4-inch scale and 1-11/16-inch nut sit on a vintage-shaped Guild neck. The archback construction is described as adding projection, volume, sustain, and a full response. Guild’s AP-1 pickup and preamp provide an amplified signal path, while the bone nut, compensated bone saddle, open-gear tuners, and matte polyurethane finish complete the natural-finish build.
