Independent shopping perspective
Guild’s D-240E is a right-handed dreadnought acoustic-electric with a solid Sitka spruce top, mahogany sides, and an arched mahogany back. That arched-back design is intended to deliver volume, projection, sustain, and a full acoustic sound. Fishman-designed AP-1 electronics add an amplified option, while the soundhole-mounted preamp uses a one-band EQ. Pau ferro is used for both the fingerboard and bridge, with a bone nut and saddle completing the core build.
