Independent shopping perspective
The Korena take
The G9121 A.C.E. combines a tenor ukulele format with Fishman Kula pickup/preamp electronics. A solid quartersawn mahogany top sits with laminated mahogany back and sides, plus a one-piece mahogany neck. The 17-inch scale, 19 frets, and cutaway give the neck layout a clear upper-fret focus. Its sidemounted preamp includes three-band EQ, and the remaining build includes a rosewood fingerboard and bridge, bone nut and saddle, Grover 9NB geared tuners, Aquila Nylgut strings, and a deluxe fitted gig bag.
