Independent shopping perspective
The Korena take
Gibson Custom’s 1956 Les Paul Goldtop Reissue VOS centers on the period combination of two P-90 pickups and an adjustable ABR-1 bridge. The build uses a one-piece mahogany body, two-piece maple top, set mahogany neck, rosewood fingerboard, and gold nitrocellulose lacquer finish. A master volume, master tone, and three-way switch keep the control layout straightforward. Vintage-style frets, reissue tuners, trapezoid inlays, and the brown-and-pink Lifton five-latch hardshell case complete its historically focused presentation.
