Independent shopping perspective
The Korena take
The Fluence Modern Alnico humbucker gives a 6-string electric guitar three distinct voices from a single pickup. Its first voice delivers full, rounded, boosted active output with articulation and dynamics. Switch to Voice 2 for a clean, crisp, fluid humbucker character, or use Voice 3 for glassy, crystal-clear single-coil tone. The Alnico model works in either pickup position and is commonly paired with a Ceramic bridge pickup.
Strong match
Who this is for
- 6-string guitar setups needing rounded active output, clean humbucker response, and a glassy single-coil voice.
- Using an Alnico pickup in either position, including alongside a Ceramic bridge pickup.
Consider the trade-offs
When to look elsewhere
- Players seeking the Ceramic pickup rather than the Alnico model.
- Guitars with a string count other than six.
