Independent shopping perspective
The Korena take
Built for an 8-string guitar, this red open-core neck humbucker puts three selectable sounds in one pickup: Vintage PAF, clear airy chime, and clear vintage single-coil. Select voices with a push-pull pot or mini-toggle switch to change the pickup’s response without changing guitars. Its moderate output and direct-replacement fit for standard 8-string humbuckers make it a focused option for players planning an 8-string electronics update.
