Chambered ash body
The chambering reduces weight and lets the ash vibrate more freely.

Independent shopping perspective
Built around a chambered ash Stratocaster body, this right-handed Player II combines lower weight with freely resonating wood, a maple neck and a maple fingerboard. Three Player Series Alnico 5 single-coils provide warm neck, punchier middle and more defined bridge voices, with a five-position blade for changing combinations. The C-shaped neck, 9.5-inch fingerboard radius and 22 medium-jumbo frets accommodate bends, while the two-point synchronized tremolo provides pitch control. It is finished in Aged Cherry Burst.
