Independent shopping perspective
The Korena take
For left-handed players, the California Newporter Player combines a medium-sized Newporter acoustic-electric body with a solid spruce top, sapele back and sides, and Fishman Flex electronics. Fender describes the Newporter voice as balanced, articulate, and powerful, with particular usefulness behind a singer. The 25.6-inch scale, 20 frets, satin-finished nato neck, and slim-taper C profile define the playing layout. Plug in through the Fishman system when the guitar needs to join an amplified setup.
