FenderBruno Mars Stratocaster Electric Guitar Mars Mocha

The Fender Bruno Mars Stratocaster is as bold and electrifying as the megastar himself. Imbued with Mars’ charisma and magic, his signature guitar is ideal for players seeking classic Strat sparkle with a silky twist in looks and sound. The Bruno Mars Stratocaster consists of a deeply contoured American Ultra body, compound-radius fingerboard and custom pickups capturing the 24-karat golden artist’s favorite tones, from velvety smooth rhythms to floating leads. As creatively diverse as its namesake, this genre-defying electric guitar covers everything from R&B and funk to pop, rock and blues. A six-time Diamond-selling songwriter commands an instrument that brings hits to life, and the Fender Bruno Mars Stratocaster is in no short supply of inspirational mojo, sonic variety and sleek playability for guitarists of all kinds. Aged Heirloom Finish This signature Strat features an eye-catching “Mars Mocha” nitrocellulose finish on a resonant ash body, gracefully aged using Fender Heirloom techniques. The aesthetic gives it a subtle sense of being worn-in and well played, like a guitar passed down through generations. The Bruno Mars Stratocaster is also shaped to ergonomic perfection using American Ultra specs, with unimpeded upper fret access and a slim outline that hugs the player, seated or standing. More than just elegant in looks, the Fender Bruno Mars Strat offers superior comfort. Custom Bruno Mars Pickups The Bruno Mars Stratocaster sports three custom pickups in traditional SSS configuration. In the bridge position is a noiseless Strat pickup, offering classic single-coil tones with minimal buzz or hum. It accomplishes Mars’ singing lead sounds with ease and stays quiet when the overdrive kicks in. The middle and neck positions are custom Bruno Mars single coils, covering the expanse of sonic territory associated with Stratocaster guitars and embellished with Mars’ preference for silkiness. The Fender Bruno Mars Strat appeals to players of similar taste, inherently perfecting pop, funk and R&B sounds, while maintaining effortless tonal fluidity that all guitarists have come to expect from a Stratocaster. Luxuriously Smooth Neck and Fingerboard Foremost playability is enhanced by a custom C-shape maple neck finished in Heirloom nitrocellulose lacquer, providing a smooth, gliding feel in the hand. A 9.5"–12" compound-radius maple fingerboard promotes equally assured rhythm and lead playing, regardless of position on the neck, and 21 stainless steel frets lend themselves to unburdened bends, plush slides and durability for years to come. Capping it off, in continuity with its vintage aesthetic, is an iconic ’70s-style Strat headstock. The Bruno Mars Stratocaster looks and feels like a naturally broken-in guitar—a well-used player’s instrument destined to influence musical expression. Elegantly Vintaged Hardware The Fender Bruno Mars Strat receives a whole complement of Heirloom-aged gold hardware, including a 2-point synchronized tremolo system and deluxe locking tuners. The pop-in tremolo arm is easier to install or remove than a threaded one, and locking tuning machines bring additional stability and modern convenience to an otherwise “vintaged” electric guitar. Even the plastics, including the master volume and tone controls, have a gentle patina to give the Bruno Mars Stratocaster the distinguished look of a treasured instrument. The Bruno Mars collaboration is classy and tasteful—any guitarist who appreciates a quality Fender Strat can find it appealing. With its gorgeously aged finish and hardware, comfortably contoured body, slick neck and versatile pickup configuration, the Fender Bruno Mars Stratocaster is built for everyone to find their voice. If you want to dial the image up a notch, the guitar includes a leopard print strap and an extra 3-ply mint green pickguard.
