Independent shopping perspective
The Korena take
Built around an HSS pickup layout, the American Ultra II Stratocaster in Aurora pairs two Ultra II Noiseless Hot Strat pickups with a Haymaker bridge humbucker. The S-1 control splits the humbucker, while the Ultra Blaster preamp boost adds another control option. A roasted maple Modern D neck, rolled fingerboard edges, compound-radius board, and sculpted neck heel focus the instrument on fluid chord work and access farther up the neck. Its tremolo and locking tuners suit players who want expressive pitch control and quick string changes.
Strong match

- Stage or studio parts that move between single-coil-style sounds and a bridge humbucker.
