Independent shopping perspective
The Korena take
Fender’s 85-watt, two-speaker all-tube combo pairs a Vintage channel for traditional Silverface operation with a Custom channel using a Bassman tone stack. Reduced negative feedback is intended to bring on overdrive sooner and increase touch sensitivity, while both channels share tube-driven spring reverb and tremolo. Two 12-inch Celestion G12V-70 speakers provide the amp’s stated punchy, rock-oriented character. Its power rating is suited to maintaining clean headroom at gigging volume, with an effects loop also available for broader stage or studio routing.
