Independent shopping perspective
The Korena take
Built around the Wolfgang Special platform, this limited-edition model combines a road-worn striped finish with hardware and controls aimed at demanding electric-guitar work. The direct-mounted EVH humbuckers, three-way selector, and master volume/tone layout keep sound changes straightforward. Its Floyd Rose locking tremolo handles expressive pitch work, while the D-Tuna provides a quick move into Drop D. A graphite-reinforced quartersawn maple neck, compound-radius ebony board, and jumbo frets support chord work, bends, and fast movement across the neck.
