01Will this deaden my tom too much?
Hydraulic heads are built for short, controlled decay. If you like an open ringing tom, this is the wrong direction. If you tape your toms now, it replaces the tape.
02Can I use this on a snare?
It is a tom head. It will fit a 10-inch drum, but snare batters are built for a different stick response and tension range.
03Do I need to replace the bottom head too?
Not required. But the two heads work together, so a new batter over an old, stretched resonant head will not tune as evenly.
04How do I measure for a 10 inch head?
