01Which side does this go on?
The bottom. It's a resonant head and is never struck.
02Will it fit a 10-inch snare?
It fits the shell, but snare-side heads are much thinner so the wires can respond. This is not a snare-side head.
03Do I have to change the batter head too?
Not necessarily, but a worn batter is usually what's dulling the drum. Resonant heads last far longer since nothing hits them.
04Clear or coated on the bottom?
Clear leaves the film undamped for more sustain and overtones. Coated tames both slightly.
