Independent shopping perspective
The Korena take
Finished in Gravity Green, the Majesty 7 is a right-handed seven-string designed around neck-through construction, a 25.5-inch scale and 24 medium-jumbo frets. The mahogany body, flame maple top and ebony fingerboard form its specified wood combination. Rainmaker-7 and Dreamcatcher-7 humbuckers handle electric lead and high-gain rhythm sounds, while the Fishman Powerbridge piezo system can be blended with the magnetic pickups. A coil split, 20dB boost, locking tuners and floating tremolo put several sound and vibrato controls within one guitar.
Strong match
Who this is for
- Studio routing that separates or combines magnetic-pickup and piezo signals for mono or stereo applications.
- Extended-range lead and rhythm work requiring a seven-string layout and 24 frets.
- Players using a floating tremolo for flutters, pulls, dives and vibrato.
Consider the trade-offs
When to look elsewhere
- Left-handed players; this is a right-handed guitar.
- Players who require a six-string layout; the Majesty 7 has seven strings.
