80/20 is brighter and more crisp out of the pack. Phosphor bronze has phosphor added, which resists corrosion longer and sounds warmer in the mids.

On a guitar built for it, no. On a lightly braced or older instrument, the extra tension can pull the top. Check what the maker recommends before switching.
03Can I use these on an electric guitar?
