Product overview

About this model

When the crowd, venue and set can change from one night to the next, your DJ system needs enough flexibility to change with them. The Denon DJ Prime 4 G2 4-deck standalone DJ controller combines four-deck performance, advanced Stems control and expressive MPCe performance pads with a 10.1" HD touchscreen and full-size 8" jog wheels. Designed for performance-driven DJs moving between clubs, private events, mobile productions and creative home setups, Prime 4 G2 brings music, effects, lighting and multiple audio sources together in one streamlined system. Built-in Wi-Fi, Bluetooth audio and extensive media connectivity further expand standalone workflows, while planned OmniSource support is designed to bridge standalone sources and compatible DJ software. The result is a flexible performance platform that keeps hands-on control at the center of the mix without requiring a laptop for standalone operation. MPCe Pads and Stems Expand Creative Performance Sixteen velocity- and pressure-sensitive MPCe pads with 3D-sensing technology expand hands-on performance control by allowing multiple functions and parameters to respond within individual pad interactions. Onboard Stem Separation provides dedicated Instant Acapella and Instrumental controls alongside a Stems pad mode and Stem Level EQ, making it possible to isolate, combine and reshape track elements directly from the hardware. Together, these tools give DJs more control over live edits, mashups and transitions while opening new ways to manipulate familiar tracks during a performance. Expanded Effects Put More Sound Under Your Hands Prime 4 G2 complements its Stems workflow with an extensive collection of hands-on effects for shaping transitions and adding creative movement to a set. Two internal Main FX modules provide more than 25 effects with dedicated toggle paddles and Favorite FX buttons, while 10 reactive Touch FX add touchscreen manipulation with latch functionality. Fader FX trigger effects through physical fader movement, and four Sweep FX options provide dedicated controls on each mixer channel. With multiple effects accessible from pads, faders, touchscreen controls and dedicated hardware, DJs can choose the control method that best fits the moment. Full-Size Controls Keep Every Mix Hands-On Full-size 8" high-resolution jog wheels provide a spacious, responsive surface for cueing, scratching and precise track manipulation, with integrated displays showing Stem status and cue-position information directly at each deck. The 10.1" optically bonded multi-touch display provides a 1280 x 800 interface for browsing libraries, manipulating waveforms and managing performance functions with familiar gestures. Side-mounted 45 mm channel faders help reduce exposure to dust and debris while supporting smooth, low-noise operation. ESS Sabre HiFi 32-bit conversion provides up to 119dB of dynamic range through the balanced Main outputs, supporting detailed audio reproduction throughout the signal path. Streaming, Lighting and Connectivity Unify the Setup Built-in Wi-Fi provides direct access to supported streaming services including Apple Music, Amazon Music Unlimited, Beatport, SoundCloud Go+ and TIDAL, while Spotify support is planned for 2027. Bluetooth 5.4 allows compatible phones and tablets to serve as additional mixable audio sources. Engine Lighting powered by SoundSwitch adds an integrated isolated DMX interface for direct control of up to 512 lighting channels without separate DMX hardware. Balanced XLR Main, Booth and Zone outputs, dual Line/Phono inputs, two microphone connections, multiple USB Type-A and Type-C ports, an SD card slot and an internal SATA drive bay provide extensive connectivity for professional DJ setups. Built to Bridge Standalone and Software DJing Prime 4 G2 is designed as both a complete standalone workstation and a flexible centerpiece for increasingly hybrid DJ workflows. Its Zone output can send an independent deck or playlist to a separate sound system, while advanced onscreen mixer controls provide access to channel assignments, crossfader behavior, microphone routing, output EQ and other system parameters. OmniSource functionality, planned for late 2026, is designed to further expand the platform by enabling simultaneous mixing between standalone sources and compatible computer DJ software. From four-deck club sets and Stems-driven performances to mobile events with integrated lighting and multiple playback sources, the Denon DJ Prime 4 G2 4-deck standalone DJ controller provides a flexible platform for building a performance workflow around the way you play.
