01What is the difference between the 6BL and the 6BS?
Nothing except the shank. Both are 25.30mm cup, 6.26mm rim, 6.66mm throat, V-type backbore. BL is large shank for big-bore horns, BS is small shank.
02Will this fit my trombone?
Only if your horn takes a large shank, which generally means a large-bore tenor or bass. Small-bore horns need the small-shank 6BS instead.
03Is this a good bass trombone mouthpiece?
No. At 25.30mm the cup is tenor-sized. Bass players are served by the larger models like the 2AL, 1AL, 0AL, or 00AL.
04Will it improve my high range?
The medium-shallow cup is designed for improved high register, so the top usually responds more easily than on a deep symphonic cup. The low end thins slightly in trade.
