Independent shopping perspective
The Korena take
Twelve strings and a hybrid pickup layout give the Dan O. Cool a broader electric voice than a standard six-string. The P90-style neck pickup brings added midrange presence, while the splittable Dual Lipstick bridge humbucker is voiced for bright chime and sharper articulation. Its hardboard-and-spruce construction keeps the instrument lightweight, and the bolt-on maple C neck supplies a familiar foundation for the expanded string layout. It is built around octave-rich parts, from sparkling rhythm layers to more textured electric hooks.
Strong match
Who this is for

Consider the trade-offs
