Independent shopping perspective
The Korena take
Built around a laminated maple semi-hollow body, the Premier SS pairs open resonance with a slimline centerblock designed to reduce feedback and add sustain. Two humbuckers cover neck, bridge, or blended pickup sounds through separate volume and tone controls. Its single cutaway reaches the upper frets, while the set maple C neck and 22-fret walnut fingerboard provide the playing platform for chord work and solos. A Tune-O-Matic bridge and stopbar tailpiece complete the layout.
Strong match
Who this is for

- Players who want a semi-hollow guitar with upper-fret access from a single-cutaway body.
Consider the trade-offs
When to look elsewhere
