Independent shopping perspective
The Korena take
Built as the A-string position for a 4/4 cello set up in fourths, this medium-gauge Helicore string uses a stranded steel core. The E–A–D–G layout puts the cello in bass tuning, giving bass and guitar players a familiar note order as they move onto cello. It is described as responding quickly under the bow and settling in over a short period.
