Independent shopping perspective
The Korena take
Built around a tenor body, the 15TM-CE pairs a layered mahogany build with a warm, rounded voice that remains even across strummed chords and picked notes. Its cutaway opens access to the upper fret area, while the satin finish and flat rosewood fingerboard keep the layout straightforward under the hands. For amplified playing, the undersaddle piezo and onboard volume control provide a direct route from acoustic practice to a PA, amp, or recording interface.
Strong match
Who this is for
- Moving between unplugged practice and amplified parts using the onboard pickup and volume control.
- Players who use upper-fret chord shapes or single-note lines and want cutaway access.
- Solo or group ukulele playing where warm, even projection is useful.
