CHAUVET DJData Stream 4 Universal DMX-512 Optical Splitter
1/8
Independent shopping perspective
The Korena take
Four-output opto-isolated DMX-512 splitter in a 19-inch rack format. For lighting rigs that have outgrown a single daisy chain.
Strong match
Who this is for
- Splitting one DMX line into four runs across a stage
- Rigs where flicker or dropout has started showing up
- Isolating fixtures so one bad cable doesn't kill the chain
Consider the trade-offs
When to look elsewhere
- Two or three fixtures on one short run — daisy chain is fine
- Anyone without rack space or a case to mount it
- Non-DMX control setups
What matters in use
The specifications, translated
Catalog numbers tell only part of the story. These are the details most likely to change how this product feels, sounds, or fits into a setup.
Detail 02
Four outputs
One controller line feeds four independent runs instead of one long fragile chain.
Detail 03
19 inches wide
Standard rack width. Goes in a rack or a rack-equipped road case.
Detail 04
Under 2 inches tall
Takes roughly one rack space, so it stacks with a dimmer or controller.
Detail 05
5.3 inches deep
Shallow enough for a small utility rack; you don't need a deep amp case.
Detail 06
Autoswitching 100-240V
Works on any standard mains voltage without a selector switch. Travel and international use are fine.
Final check
Know before you order

- 03It splits signal only; it does not add power to fixtures
Product questions
Before you decide
Straight answers to the questions shoppers most often ask about this product.
01How many fixtures can I run off this?
It gives you four separate DMX runs. Each run carries the standard 512 channels, so plan your fixture count per branch the way you would on any DMX line.
02Will it fix my flickering lights?
It helps when the cause is a long overloaded chain or an electrical fault on one branch. It won't fix bad cables or wrong addressing.
03Does it mount in a rack?
Yes, it's 19 inches wide and under two inches tall.
04Do I need a separate power supply?
No. It runs on 100-240V mains and switches automatically.
