Independent shopping perspective
The Korena take
The Pro-Mod Plus DK24-7 HH 2PT EB is a right-handed seven-string built with two directly mounted Seymour Duncan humbuckers: a Full Shred TB-10 at the bridge and an Alnico II Pro APH-1N at the neck. Its five-way blade switch works alongside a series/parallel mini toggle for additional wiring choices. The ebony fingerboard has a 12–16 inch compound radius, 24 jumbo stainless-steel frets and Luminlay side dots. A Gotoh Custom 510 tremolo, locking tuners and included Charvel Deluxe gig bag round out the package.
Strong match
Who this is for
- Live or studio parts that use the added range of a seven-string layout.
- Performances requiring quick pickup-selection changes plus series or parallel wiring choices.
- Low-light stages where the Luminlay side dots aid visual reference.
Consider the trade-offs
When to look elsewhere
- Players who only want a six-string electric guitar.
- Players looking for a fixed bridge instead of the Gotoh Custom 510 tremolo.
