On metal contact pots, yes. For plastic conductive fader tracks use FaderLube instead, which is made for that surface.
02Will it fix a crackling guitar input jack?
Usually, if the crackle comes from oxidation or dirt. It will not fix a cracked solder joint or a broken jack.
03How often should I apply it?
Only when a connection acts up, or during periodic service. It leaves a protective film, so repeated dosing is unnecessary.
04Is it safe on plastics?
It is intended for metal connections. Keep it off plastic parts and painted surfaces, and wipe away any overspray.
