Independent shopping perspective
The Korena take
The Luau E is a concert acoustic-electric ukulele with a 15-inch scale and 17 frets. Compared with a soprano, its longer scale is designed to make fretting easier, while the slightly wider body remains positioned beneath the player’s elbow. A solid spruce top and myrtlewood body shape its acoustic voice, and the built-in pickup/preamp adds an amplified option. It is finished in sunburst with satin finishing and has an ovangkol fingerboard.
