Independent shopping perspective
The Korena take
Built-in expression control makes the XS-100 a hands-on pitch shifter for guitar and bass. The pedal can sweep pitch four octaves up or down, with fixed settings covering the same range. Two assignable footswitches handle retuning, effect toggling, or momentary pitch changes, and 30 memories let you return to saved setups. A backlit LCD supports navigation, while MIDI I/O, analog dry-through, and buffered bypass provide connection options for more involved rigs.
