Yes. The 7C rim contour and cup diameter carry over. The difference is the mass of metal around the cup, not the size you feel on your lip.

No. Cup depth and rim size drive range, and those are unchanged from a 7C. The heavy blank changes tone color, not register.
03Does it fit a cornet?
No. This is a trumpet shank. Cornet receivers use a different taper and it will not seat correctly.
04What does it actually sound like versus a standard 7C?
