01How often should I oil the valves?
Roughly once a week with regular playing, or any time a valve feels slow or sticky. Three drops down each valve casing is enough.
02Can I use valve oil on the tuning slides?
No. Slides need the thicker grease in the kit. Valve oil is too thin and drains away within a day or two.
03Will this work for a cornet?
Yes. Trumpet and cornet use the same piston valves and similar bore, so the oil, grease and brushes apply to both.
04Does this fix stuck valves?
It helps with valves that are just dry or dirty. If a valve is jammed or bent, that's a repair shop job — don't force it.
