Strong match
Who this is for
- building song ideas from loops, midi, and recordings before arranging them on a timeline.
- recording and mixing music sessions that stay within sixteen simultaneous inputs.
- moving a sketch between ipad and desktop pro tools workflows.
Consider the trade-offs
When to look elsewhere
- video-based projects, because artist has no video tracks.
- sessions requiring more than 32 audio tracks or stereo-only multichannel mixing.
- workflows needing advanced automation, advanced audio post tools, or pro tools systems and interface support.
