02Can I remove the foam later?

03Do I need this if I bought Studiofoam?
You need some adhesive. Auralex specifies one can of FoamTak or two tubes of Tubetak per 12-panel box; none ships with the foam.
04Will it work on painted drywall?
It is intended for wall mounting of foam. Bond strength depends on the paint's own adhesion, and removal will likely take paint with it.
