Built for players who want classic valve response with modern flexibility, the Ashdown UK-PM-20H Peacemaker 20W tube guitar amp head packs a pair of 6V6 power tubes into a compact, UK-built design. Gain, Bass, Middle, Treble and Master controls provide a familiar foundation for shaping your sound, while Dark/Light voicing and a footswitchable Boost expand the available tonal range. Linked inputs offer another way to shape the amp's response, and a built-in load supports silent recording and headphone practice without requiring a speaker cabinet. Part of Ashdown's Classic Custom Shop UK Built Studio Peacemaker series, the Peacemaker-20H combines straightforward tube-amp operation with features designed for recording, practice and performance. 6V6 Power Tubes Deliver Responsive Valve Performance A pair of 6V6 power tubes drives the Peacemaker-20H's 20W output, giving guitarists an all-valve platform in a compact head format. Gain and Master controls provide independent command over preamp drive and overall output, while dedicated Bass, Middle and Treble controls handle traditional tone shaping. A Dark/Light switch provides an additional voicing option, allowing you to alter the amp's overall tonal character without complicating the control layout. A footswitchable Boost adds another level of flexibility for moving between core sounds and more prominent passages during a performance. Built-In Load Expands Recording and Practice Options The Peacemaker-20H incorporates a built-in load that allows the amplifier to operate without a connected speaker cabinet, opening up silent recording and headphone-practice applications. Linked inputs provide additional flexibility for shaping the amp's response, while the compact head format makes the Peacemaker-20H easier to incorporate into recording and performance rigs where space matters. Together, these features extend the amp beyond a straightforward low-wattage tube head, providing practical options for players who need one amplifier to move between home, studio and stage setups. Handbuilt in the UK for Players Who Value Simplicity Designed, engineered and handbuilt in the UK, the Peacemaker-20H reflects Ashdown's emphasis on straightforward controls and traditional valve-amp architecture while adding practical features for contemporary guitar rigs. Its 20W output and 6V6 power section provide the foundation, while selectable voicing, Boost, linked inputs and silent-operation capability broaden how the amp can be used. For guitarists seeking a compact all-valve head with familiar tone shaping and useful recording flexibility, the Ashdown UK-PM-20H Peacemaker amp ead provides a focused combination of traditional design and modern functionality.
