It delivers 250W through its internal Sica NEO 15" speaker and reaches its full 500W output when paired with an additional 8-ohm cabinet, providing flexibility for practice, rehearsals, studio work and live performance. A 5-band EQ, switchable Pre-Shape, tube-emulated drive, balanced XLR DI, FX loop, headphone output, speaker mute and tweeter control give this 1x15" combo extensive control for a range of playing environments. 1x15" Speaker With Expandable 500W Output The Sica NEO 15" speaker gives the UK-SBM-115-500 a full, weighty low-end response, while the tweeter adds high-frequency detail when additional top-end definition is needed. The combo delivers 250W through its internal 8-ohm speaker for standalone use; connecting an additional 8-ohm cabinet allows the amplifier to deliver its full 500W output for larger performance applications. 5-Band Ashdown EQ and Drive Character The UK-SBM preamp centers on Ashdown's familiar 5-band EQ, with bass, Lo-Mid, middle, Hi-Mid and treble controls for detailed tone shaping. The switchable Pre-Shape provides quick access to a familiar Ashdown tonal contour, while the tube-emulated drive control moves from subtle warmth to more pronounced grit. Together, these controls provide a flexible foundation for shaping the amp around different basses, playing styles and performance environments. Stage, Studio and Silent-Practice Connectivity A balanced XLR DI output provides a direct feed for live sound and recording, while the FX loop integrates pedals or external processors through a TRS jack and Y cable. The headphone output mutes the speaker for quiet practice, while line input and footswitch connectivity expand the combo's everyday utility. From its iconic Bass Magnifier amps and bass cabinets to pedals, guitar amplification and artist-driven designs, the family-run company has remained dedicated to giving players distinctive tone and dependable performance while renewing its commitment to UK-built craftsmanship.
