AlphaThetaHDJ-F9 Closed-Back Wireless DJ Headphones

Cut the headphone cable without giving up the timing, impact or isolation professional DJ monitoring demands. The AlphaTheta HDJ-F9 on-ear DJ headphones combine evolved SonicLink wireless technology with newly developed 40 mm drivers, high sound isolation and a durable, flexible design made for life behind the decks. SonicLink delivers ultralow latency down to just 9 ms, allowing DJs to monitor mixes and even perform precise scratching wirelessly, while new touch pairing makes connection to compatible DJ equipment as simple as touching the headphones to the supported unit. Bluetooth 5.3, wired operation and the dedicated Headphones Connect app extend the HDJ-F9 beyond the booth, creating a versatile monitoring platform that gives professional DJs more freedom to move without losing the focused listening experience they rely on. SonicLink Delivers Cable-Free DJ Monitoring AlphaTheta's SonicLink technology provides the high output, sound quality and responsive timing required for professional DJ performance across a wireless range of approximately 49'. With latency as low as 9 ms, the HDJ-F9 lets DJs cue, mix and scratch without the distracting delay associated with conventional wireless listening. SonicLink touch pairing provides an even faster workflow with compatible equipment such as the DJM-V5, while the separately sold HP-TX01 SonicLink Transmitter expands wireless compatibility to a broader range of gear. A supplied 3.9' coiled cable, extendable to approximately 9.8', also keeps traditional wired monitoring available whenever it's preferred. New Drivers Deliver Powerful Lows and Clear Detail Newly developed 40 mm drivers provide a wide 5Hz–30kHz frequency response with the low-frequency definition needed to distinguish kicks and basslines inside loud DJ booths. A bass-reflex chamber in each housing reinforces tight, full-bodied response down into the sub-bass range, while a PEEK-PU-PEEK composite-film diaphragm suppresses unwanted vibration to maintain balanced mids and highs with minimal distortion. The optimized internal structure also increases isolation for an on-ear design, helping DJs hear critical details without continually pushing monitoring levels higher. With 106dB output sound pressure and 32-Ohm impedance, the AlphaTheta HDJ-F9 is engineered for confident monitoring across demanding performance environments. Professional Durability Meets Connected Everyday Listening Swivel-mounted hangers and a flexible silicone headband allow the HDJ-F9 to adapt naturally to two-ear, single-ear and shoulder monitoring styles, while a die-cast aluminum adjustment slider provides the durability required for regular professional use. Beyond SonicLink, Bluetooth 5.3 supports multipoint connection to two devices, AAC playback, Google Fast Pair and Windows Swift Pair, while a built-in microphone handles hands-free calls. The Headphones Connect app adds control over Status LED color and brightness, auto-power-off and voice assistant settings, along with Find My Headphones functionality and firmware updates. Battery life reaches approximately seven hours with SonicLink and the Status LED active or up to 25 hours over Bluetooth with the LED off, while a 30-minute quick charge provides approximately 2.5 hours of use—giving the AlphaTheta HDJ-F9 the flexibility to move from a full DJ set to everyday wireless listening without missing a beat.
